We have a few chemical manufacturers we currently work with (Grizzly Gold, Genyk and Soprema), due to their exceptional R-value per inch, and ultra-low global warming potential by using an HFO blowing agent in their 2lb closed-cell foam.

COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is not just for residential applications, it’s also perfect for many commercial and industrial applications. In addition to the areas outlined under the RESIDENTIAL section, commercial and industrial applications could include pipeline or storage tank insulation, soundproofing, and exterior building envelope spraying. Schools, office buildings, commercial warehouses, factories, storage units, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants etc. could all benefit from the use of spray foam.

There are almost endless applications for spray foam.  Bring us your insulation requirement, and let us figure out how to get it done!

ROOFING

Most people dealing with buildings that have flat roofs, don’t think of spray foam when it comes time to re-do your roof! Compared to tar & gravel roofing, spray polyurethane foam (SPF) with a silicone barrier applied, gives you a complete air and moisture barrier on your roof. It is also typically cheaper than the costs to re-do a tar & gravel roof.

Another huge benefit is we can greatly reduce your buildings heat loss by adding additional R-value to your roof, through either 3lb exterior roofing foam, or a combination of 3lb closed-cell foam on the exterior, and 0.5lb open-cell foam applied on the interior.

RADON BARRIER SYSTEMS

All new construction in Ontario requires builders to incorporate a Radon mitigation system, including a barrier to block any Radon gas from entering the home or structure.

1000 Islands Spray Foam offers customers a fully certified solution, to provide both under slab insulation and Radon protection. Our chemical supplier (Grizzly Gold) and our certification body (CUFCA), have a fully ULC lab certified solution for Radon protection. Our installers are fully certified in the installation of spray foam Radon barrier systems.

Installing in-floor radiant tubing? No problem, we can install that right on top of our barrier system.   Contact us for your Radon barrier needs!

Have A Need For Blown-In Insulation, or Blown-on Fireproofing, Thermal or Acoustic Insulation?

We Can Do That Too!

1000 Islands Spray Foam has expanded our product offerings to our clients, and we now offer Fireproofing, Thermal, and Acoustic blown-on services for residential, commercial or industrial clients. This is in addition to our ability to do blown-in fiberglass insulation for attics and walls.

Using the latest in blowing technology, we have the ability to install a wide variety of fiber based products.

1000 Islands Spray Foam is an approved applicator for the Cafco BlazeShield II blown-on cementous fireproofing product, as well as the Soprema K13 thermal insulation, and Soprema Sonaspray FC acoustic blown-on product.

FIREPROOFING

Over time, existing blown-on fireproofing can become brittle and start to decay or fall off the structures it once adhered to. This can possibly lead to your building or structure being compromised should a fire occur.

Here is a little video clip showing you just how easy fireproofing can fall off, once it’s degraded over time.

TRUST AN APPROVED APPLICATOR

As mentioned above, 1000 Islands Spray Foam is one of only a handful of approved applicators in Eastern Ontario for the Cafco BlazeShield II fireproofing product, as well as the Soprema K13 thermal insulation and Soprema Sonaspray FC acoustic blown-on insulation.

We work directly with our customers to understand their specific project requirements, before liaising with our technical support representatives to find out what we need to do, to achieve a proper installation of a given product.

Technical representatives regularly come to our job sites during the initial install, to provide us with product and project support.

DONE RIGHT, THE FIRST TIME!

Having the proper equipment to complete a job is in almost every case, crucial to the success of a product install. 1000 Islands Spray Foam is utilizing the latest in fiber blowing technology, to install both blown-in fiberglass insulation, as well as fireproofing, thermal and acoustic insulation.
